CONCIOUS CRAFT

Since day one keeping handcraft traditions alive has been at the forefront of our brand. While we’ve grown a lot since then, supporting artisans and women in India’s handcraft communities is still one of our key missions.

• We support 480 artisans in 21 handcraft communities by enabling working from home for women, along with completing regular visits and monitoring worker happiness using our worker wellbeing tool
• As a majority female business, we’re working with our suppliers to support the many women and girls in our community with training sessions in financial literacy, health and safety and respecting women in the workplace

We only work with factories that meet our minimum code of conduct requirements, and we continuously monitor our partner factories for safe working conditions, fair pay and treatment.  In 2023 that included:

• 74 visits to our partner factories
• 360 actions taken to improve working conditions

CHAMPIONING WOMEN

We are proud to be a majority female business. 94% of all our employees are women, along with 71% of our leadership team. We also have 10,000+ women and girls in our community and supply chain. We will continue to support and champion the women of our brand by maintaining leading gender and pay equality and through initiatives making a difference to women around the world.
